In an effort to provide second and third year law students with an opportunity to gain exposure to the Federal prosecution system, the United States Attorney's Office, District of Hawaii is accepting applications for volunteer and extern/intern positions in Hawaii for summer 2001. We also accept applications from first year, second semester students in the volunteer program. Applicants must be United States citizens.

To be considered for the volunteer law clerk position, students must complete a successful background investigation. Required forms for the background investigation will be forwarded to the student after receipt of their application. Applicants must also be a United States citizen.

Students will be selected based on their applications and the completion of a successful background investigation. There will be no interviews. We are an EEO employer.
